Fishing Report - Dec 2009
The spot tail bass and speckle trout have really
turned on. They are in there winter mode and I'm catching big numbers.
The largest spot tail was 30 inches ( 8 lbs. ) and the largest trout
was 22 inches ( 3 1/2 lbs. ) That's a lot of fun in less than 2 feet
of water with a lite spinning or fly rod. Water is clear enough (
to quote a good friend) "Come see what you miss". This fishing
should hold through January, if we don't get some extremely cold weather.
I'm starting to book the last week of Dec. and some in Jan.
